According to BHF Director General, Peter Hollins, kids have lost touch with even the most basic foods and no longer know very well what they are eating. In a survey conducted by the charity which interviewed 1,000 kids, it was found that one in three did not know that chips were made from potatoes. Apparently as much as one in ten thought chips were made mainly from oil, while some recommended eggs, flour and apples even. The quality of food eaten by children remains a sizzling political issue after a high-profile advertising campaign by television chef Jamie Oliver attemptedto tackle the issue of childhood weight problems and diet plan..The proportion of ICD implants performed by the different types of doctor specialty was 66.6 % for electrophysiologists, 24.8 % for nonelectrophysiologist cardiologists, 2.6 % for thoracic surgeons, and 6.1 % for other specialists. The rate of non-evidence-centered ICD implants was considerably lower for electrophysiologists than nonelectrophysiologists . There was no clear reduction in the price of non-evidence-based ICDs over time. ‘During this period of limited assets and because of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ emphasis on quality improvement by marketing evidence-based care, it is increasingly important to assess hospital performance and to provide feedback to hospitals about their outcomes and compliance with scientific guideline suggestions.
